The programme "In the teachers house" is a different option to any other English course or language immersion.
Our teachers, with years of experience, are highly qualified to teach, motivate and guide your process of learning. They will be your educational references and will look after you.
You will live and study in the house of your teacher, so you won´t have transport problems getting to your classes.
The learning is very different respect to the tradtional, it will not be based on books and textbooks, but is about a natural experience in the language, and how people speak in daily situations.
The programme respects your rate, as you are the only student, your teacher will focus on your specific individual needs. You will learn whilst enjoying a welcoming environment.
You can practice English in daily relaxed situations all day, with your teacher and their family.
The programme of English in a teachers house is available in many places in the UK. You can choose between a town near parks, the sea or a city; many of the teachers live in big cities such as Bristol, Bath, Liverpool, London or Manchester, or in coastal cities such as Brighton or Bournemouth. You can indicate your preferences in the reservation form.

The objective of the programme is to help you to learn English quickly and successfully by sharing, living and studying in your teachers house. It is a total immersion programme with a lot of emphasis on conversation and the capacities of communication. The course can also be very personalised and designed around the learning needs of each of the students. You will learn English all day with the teacher, their family and friends. You will be able to get to know the way of life and culture of the country, and feel part of an English family.
General course to improve your basic language skills
In this case, there are two students in the teachers house. We guarantee that the students will be different nationalities, so you will be able to practice between yourselves too.
The teacher will help you with the specific vocabulary that you need in contexts and situations typical of the world of business, meetings, presentations, negotiations, international conferences, etc.
You will also learn how to cope in more social situations, such as dinner or with clients.
You will acquire specific competencies and techniques to write reports and letters, as well as learning specific vocabulary in your area of interest (engineering, technology, marketing, human resources...)
There is also the option of having 2:! courses - two students and one teacher. The students will be of different nationalities.

This is a specific course for English teachers that need to refresh their knowledge, skills and vocabulary for teaching English in their classes.
It is a very flexible course, able to adapt to your needs as a teacher.

The social programme is personalised according to your preferences. After class, a plan of activities and excursions are organised according to your interests.
You will get the opportunity to visit places of interest, other cities or surrounding towns, do sports, cultural activities, trips to museums and fun activities such as bowling, cinema or theatre afternoons, dinners in restaurants etc.
The excursions and acitivites will be defined at the beginning of the course with your teacher. This includes 2 half day excursion and a full day excursion.
The entrance to museums and the tickets for transport are not included in the price. (You will need to also pay for the teachers ticket).
Speaking with natives is the most natural way to learn a language and gain confidence. During the activities, you will be able to practice English in real life situations with your teacher, your family and your friends.
During the stay, you will be in the teachers house and you will have the opportunity to live with them and their family. You will not only share food with them, but also their routines and free time.
You will be able to practice the conversations that you have learnt in class, and continue learning not only the language but also the fundamental aspects of their culture and way of life.

The transfer service from the train or bus station to the teachers house is included in the price. A welcome service can also be organised from the airport. In this case, the teacher will come and pick you up from the airport. The price depends on the arrival airport. Contact us for more information.
It is recommendable to get to the teachers house on the Sunday afternoon, from 15:00 to 21:00 - and leave on the Saturday morning (09:00-12:00)
