The School in Marbella, with a full capacity of one hundred and thirty students, is a small school designed around open air spaces to allow students to enjoy the city's excellent year round weather as well as taking part in well run and informative lessons. The center's size fosters a community feel, where Spaniards mingle with internationals between all the language classes we offer in the same building: Spanish, English, French and German. This allows for a great atmosphere, as everyone is interested in learning as well as getting to know some new people in their new environment throughout their stay, and you can also meet people from other countries should you have the desire to travel with new friends.
The coexistence of students from many different nationalities in our Marbella school is an incentive to learn Spanish which pushes students to work harder and learn quicker. This means that our students move and progress in a multicultural environment where emphasis is given to teaching Spanish in the academic atmosphere so that students can develop both their language skills and cultural understanding – which is essential to being understood fully as well as to using the language in a more effective and authentic way. This makes a more effective learning environment for everyone involved.
The location is also an attractive characteristic of the school which helps to create a more interesting learning environment. In the heart of the city and just a few minutes from the beach, the school is perfectly located within easy reach of most of the main attractions of the city which you are sure to want to visit. This means that it makes a perfect departure point for cultural visits, walks or beach trips organized by students after class as well as your own personal exploration. This also means that it is a great place not only to learn but also to have fun!

If there is a high class destination to be found in Spain then it certainly has to be Marbella. This undisputed highlight of the sunny Costa del Sol is an exclusive Mediterranean resort town with some of the best beaches in Europe, and it has a lot more to offer as well. It has beautiful parks and gardens, top notch golf courses which can be played at the highest levels, and a picturesque old quarter, or "Casco Antiguo," which makes Marbella a relaxing yet stimulating place to learn Spanish as well as a fantastic place just to spend some time in the sun.
The golden city, as it is often known, is preferred by many of the world´s rich and famous and so you will be in good company while you are here. In fact, you may run into one or two well known faces during your stay if you are lucky and you keep your eyes open. This once modest fishing village is now a rich and exuberant city, and it is very desirable in terms of real estate, so the atmosphere here is quite different to what you might find in some of the other, more tourist driven cities in Spain.
Boutique and luxury stores, marinas packed with yachts and catamarans, luxury cars driving on the roads… all this can be found in Marbella if you take a look around. But the town is so much more than all of this; it is also a very important historical city with countless examples of Gothic and Moorish architecture, particularly in the old quarter, which have been preserved well and can give you a window into the past of this region of Spain if you would like to know more about it. Taking a stroll through some parts of the city will transport you to a fascinating period of time, where you can learn more about the different influences which have come to bear on the Spanish language during its formation in order to create what it is today. This will help you to learn more and also to learn in a broader way, with more vocabulary which comes from different sources throughout history.
