Founded in 1964, the English academy is located on the beach, a few minutes walk from the train station Dart. It is a spacious Georgian building overlooking the River Liffey. There is a multimedia room, cafeteria, library and wi-fi. Each evening you can attend tutorials if you need to, and can also make use of all of the facilities at the school. It has a relaxed and stimulating environment. Every week there are students from 12 or 16 different nationalities. The teachers are native speakers and qualified.

This course is a combination of the standard course of 20 hours per week + 6 extra hours of specific preparation to pass the IELTS exam.

The course is designed to prepare students for their specific tests in the ESOL Cambridge exam. During the course, you will work on all the necessary competencies in order to pass the test successfully.
Every week the school organises a varied plan of activities. The activities are not mandatory, however it is a perfect way to practice English, meet new friends and have fun. Every afternoon there are film screenings at the school and excursions are organised at the weekends.
The apartments are located very close to the school. This type of accommodation provides an excellent opportunity for students to practice their English with students of different nationalities. The apartment consists of 2/3 bedrooms with bathroom, kitchen and lounge, fully equipped with dishwasher and TV / DVD. There is Wifi connection throughout the building. You will be given sheets and towels on arrival.

Families offer half board Monday to Friday, including full board on weekends. All families have been carefully selected and visited. Living with an Irish family is the best way to practice your English. The houses are located a short walk from the school, but in the summer months the students should get public transport to get to class.
