The Dublin School Low Cost


Our English school in Dublin has two locations in the heart of the city, in the most animated and best-located areas.

 

  • Harcourt Street is a modern center located 5 minutes walk from Grafton Street (shopping area) and 10 minutes from Temple Bar (entertainment area).
  • Capel Street is located in the northern part of the city just 10 minutes walk from Temple Bar and the River Liffey.


On Friday you will receive an email with the confirmation of the address of the school where you will have your classes. Each Friday the academic direction reviews the classes that have been formed, taking into consideration the progress of the old students and the levels of the new students.

 

 

Apart from the basic courses, the school offers you these options:

 

  • Business & Corporate Program 15 hours of English from 9.00 to 12.15 from Monday to Friday and Golf Lessons on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 2:00 pm to 4:30 pm.
  • This course is available from March to October every year
  • Minimum duration: 2 weeks

 

  • Course 40+  15 hours of English from 9.00 to 12.15 from Monday to Friday, activities, and excursions in the afternoon
  • This course is available throughout the year
  • Minimum duration: 2 weeks

  • Temple bar is the area of bars and nightlife of Dublin.
  • It is the most crowded district of bars where music comes from the pubs themselves 
  • Nightclubs in Dublin are usually open between 10 pm and 3 am (club license) and usually close at 2:30 am. The entrance prices would range between € 5 to € 15. The prices of drinks are usually higher than in bars.

Living in a family is ideal for students who want to integrate into a different culture. Sharing meals with your hosts every day, you will have the opportunity to enjoy relaxed and family situations in which you can practice and improve the language. All families have been carefully selected to offer a pleasant, comfortable and safe environment.

Remember that families do not usually live in the center but in residential neighborhoods, so you must take public transport to get to the school.

How to get to Dublin


The Dublin International Airport is located 12 km from the city.

The companies that fly to Dublin from Spain are:

There is an option to hire a transfer service from Dublin Airport to the accommodation.

Alicante, Barcelona, Bilbao, Gerona, Ibiza, Las Palmas, Madrid, Malaga, Murcia, Santander, Santiago de Compostela, Seville and Valencia.

How to get to the city center:


There are 6 public transport buses that operate on the City Center - Dublin Airport route.

The blue buses: from the Aircoach company connect the airport with Ballsbridge and Donnybrook -in the south of the city-, stopping at the main hotels and streets in the center of Dublin. The price is 7 euros one way and 12 round trip. The duration of the trip is approximately 30 minutes and they leave with a frequency of 10 minutes.
Dublin Bus: 41, 41A, 41B, 41C: The lines of the municipal bus company have a regularity of 45 minutes and arrive at Eden Quay at the price of an urban ticket. Another, from the same company, but on a special green bus that leaves from the bus station or Busaras to the airport with a single intermediate stop on O'Connell Street. The price is 6 euros.
Dublin Airport Taxis: You can take a taxi from the airport to any destination in the city of Dublin. An average daytime fare from the airport to the center is approximately € 20, depending on the distance and schedule fare. Ask the taxi driver for the fare before boarding if in doubt. There are extra charges for additional passengers, luggage, animals (apart from guide dogs), time of day, Sundays, and holidays.
